I pull up to the cemetery as I crush my morning beer
Late and hungover, feeling like street trash for my uncle's funeral
I see my family glaring at me gathered around his casket
My stomach churning, head spinning, I stumble over to view his stinking corpse

I puke into my uncle's grave
My bile seeps into his brain
I stand in horror as I learn
My vomit caused him to return

I fall back over what I've done, this desecration through my fluids
As my family shout at me in disgust, embarrassment and disbelief
But as I wipe the chunks from my lips I see his pale hand grasp the frame
And watch in sick delight as my uncle lives once again

Through spew rotten eyes
He glares at us all
Skin waxen and sloughing off
Coated in what was once my brunch
With a moan my uncle pivots
And lurches toward my cowering niece and nephew
Cries of pain and fear break the cemetery silence
As my uncle begins his ravenous meat filled feast

I puked into my uncle's grave
My bile seeped into his brain
I stand in joy as I now see
Him vomit up our ancestry

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal
